How long does the effect last? / Why does it last permanently?

In photocatalytic reactions, titanium dioxide itself is not consumed or altered, meaning it functions continuously as long as light is present. Furthermore, nanoeZONE COAT uses ultra-fine particles (2–3 nanometer scale) that self-bond via intermolecular forces, eliminating the need for binders and preventing peeling caused by binder degradation. However, because actual treated surfaces are subject to wear and dirt from daily use, we recommend partial maintenance approximately every 2 years, depending on the usage environment and surface condition. This does not mean the inherent action of the titanium dioxide expires in 2 years.
